New storyline idea!

Hello all,

Player update: I'm about to advertise Mithos's role on [info]symphonia_slash, assuming that if anyone from here wanted the role, they would have offered by now. (?) We're still waiting to hear from the new Regal player...I'll give her another week before requesting new applications. There has been some movement on the Botta front (yay for Yuan - hopefully! XD).

Credit must go to [info]diamondust for a fantastic storyline idea that [info]gargantsurprise and I are in love with. How about a Wacky Wedding?! Namely, between Lloyd and Colette, whose families have decided it's a good idea for Sylvarant's morale, considering they are national heroes.

Colette and Lloyd can organise an engagement party or separate hen and stag do's (or all three) which could be fun events on the main forum. (What's nice about this is that they can be expected to invite EVERY character!) Everyone else gets to react to the news in their own journals and at the parties and hopefully it should get some action on the ZelosxLloyd and Colettex??? front (if not some others, hehe). If the development of the storyline permits an actual wedding, then who knows what'll happen?

It'd be nice to hear what you guys think of this, particularly [info]boooon, as the other character who this will affect the most. If we go with this, I guess it's up to Colette and Lloyd to get the ball rolling in their own journals.

Please feel free to post your own ideas for future storylines. It'd be nice to get some brainstorming sessions going. And don't be shy about using the main forum for any events/situations which involve two or more characters. (Sorry this is so long!)

Good luck with that pairing! ^__^ They're both so clueless!

The prospect of a hen party with Sheena, Raine, Colette, Presea and Lady Pronyma is... somewhat... frightening.

Although, we might have a Martel player by then, too. O_O *says no more*

... Anyway, that could be funny. Lloyd could see it as something COMPLETELY different from Colette. "We are pleased to announce that the town of Iselia will be holding a wedding festival, celebrating the coming together of Lloyd Irving and Colette Brunell. All are invite to participate in the wondrous event of their marriage..."

... In other words, he could think it's a big party for Colette. Or something. I suck.

So you likey the idea?!?! Cool...I'll let you and [info]gargantsurprise sort out the when and how and...whatevers.

I dunno if we want to wait for a Regal player before moving on at any swift pace. It could take a couple of weeks or more to get a new player if the current one doesn't respond to my email in the next week. But the idea behind the wedding storyline is that it could last us a couple of months, in theory.

God, I hope it doesn't get that far. If they were actually married, wouldn't that be a little OOC for a slash comm??? *snigger* I'm counting on Zelos not to let it happen!

Kratos would probably be pro-marriage. Hmmm...I'm not sure where Yuan stands.

Well if the wedding actually went on as planned I'm sure they would realize on their honeymoon; "Hey, we're gay! This just ain't gunna work!" Of course the idea of awkward Lloyd/Colette wedding night sex would be SO AMUSING.

But yeah, the whole thing should take awhile to build up to. What with preperations and the like. And bachelor/bachelorette parties? (BWHAHA, that should be the most fun part) So hopefully some of the missing players will be present by then.
